Perak Investment Management Centre or better known as InvestPerak, was established on 24th January 2006 to serve as the First Point of Contact for Investors in the manufacturing and services sectors in Perak. It primarily acts as the principal investment promotion agency of the Perak State Government and reports directly to the Chief Minister of Perak.

Working visit to Central Medicare Teluk Intan tohether with Malaysian Investment Development Authority - MIDA Kuala Lumpur. The company is expanding and building new factories in Perak to fulfill high demand of glove worldwide. The new expansion will create job opportunities for local people especially for Teluk Intan folks.
BATU GAJAH: Murata Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn.Bhd. a Japan-based company has recently completed construction of new production facility in Bemban Industrial Estate, Batu Gajah and a completion ceremony was graced by the presence of Speaker of the Perak State Legislative Assembly, YB Dato’ Ngeh Koo Ham 倪可汉, and YB Ir Dr Muhd Fadhil Nuruddin representing YB Dato' Seri Ir Hj Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin, Perak State Executive Committe Chairman for Investment, Industy and Regional Development. According to Murata, the new production facility which the total investment is approximately RM500 million is needed to accommodate further increases in demand for electronic components, sophisticated mobile devices (smartphones, etc.), as well as for electric vehicles.
