Although not renowned as a shopping destination, for those who enjoy shopping, Ipoh offers many shopping malls and more recently the development of hundreds of mini-designer boutiques in Ipoh and across Perak state. Perak also boasts a number of hypermarkets and supermarkets like Giant and Tesco, where fresh goods and all kinds of groceries can be purchased at competitive prices.
