"Beauty in Diversity" best describes the people of Perak. Like the rest of Malaysia, Perak boasts a cultural melting pot of a variety of different races (the Malay, Chinese, Indian, Sikhs and others) and religions (Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity and Sikhism amongst others). The peace and tranquility of the state has also attracted other foreign communities, including North Americans, Europeans, Japanese to make Perak their home.
